Coron Travel Itinerary
The Perfect 5-Day + Plan

or stay longer
Coron and Busuanga are huge, and there is so much to see. If you have five days, here is the best way to plan your trip so you don’t miss anything!
Days 1 & 2: Island Hopping (The Must-See)
You cannot visit Coron without seeing the lagoons and beaches. We recommend two days on the water:
- Day 1: Take the Ultimate Tour. This includes the most famous spots like Kayangan Lake and Twin Lagoon.
- Day 2: Choose the Island Escapade Tour for white sandy beaches, or split your highlights into Tour A and Tour B over these two days.
Day 3: Land Adventure & Exploration
Rent a motorcycle scooter to see the “real” Busuanga. The main roads are now in good condition and easy to drive.
Tip: Find detailed routes and maps on coron-busuanga.com.
North & West: These areas are easy to reach and very beautiful.
East Coast: The road to Marcilla Beach is a bit more difficult. Only drive here if you are an experienced rider, but the quiet, golden beach is worth the trip!
Day 4: Relax Near Town
If you don’t want to travel far, stay close to Coron Town:
- Pool Day: Some luxury hotels, like TAG Resort, allow “Walk-In” guests to use their pool for a small fee.
- Evening: Hike the 700+ steps of Mt. Tapyas for the sunset, then soak your tired muscles in the salty water of Maquinit Hot Spring.
Day 5: Nature & Overnight Stay
If you love nature, spend a night outside the busy city. It is much quieter and very romantic.
Activities: Here you can go kayaking through mangroves or hike to hidden waterfalls.
Top Locations: Stay in the beach village of Ocam Ocam, a hotel at Busuanga Bay, or the Riverhouse in Decalachao.

Special Recommendations
- For Divers: If you are a diver, you must plan at least two days for diving. Coron has some of the best WWII shipwreck dives in the world. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
- For Wildlife Lovers: Do not miss the Dugong Watching in the North. Meeting these rare sea cows is a memory you will keep forever.
